Card?
Virtual Credit Card is a means of payment that works
like a real credit card. It can be used at websites,
online merchants, internet shops & web stores over the
internet where payment by credit card is accepted.
How do I apply for Virtual

a physical location? If no, then how do I receive my
virtual card?
No, since it is a virtual card, it cannot be sent
physically. It is sent virtually to the email address of
the client.
What information of my new
virtual credit card will I receive in email so that I
can shop online?
You will receive following in your email to constitute a

16 digit virtual credit card number
3 digits of CVC / CVC2 number - three digit security
number, this is also called verification code. It is
normally found on the back of a credit card

Name on card (this name is provided by the client to

How long does it take to
process virtual credit card order?
Card is sent to client's email address between two to
five working days excluding (weekends/holidays) after
payment is received and verified. Point to note, 99%
orders are completed even faster than above timeframe.
Utmost effort is made to complete the order as per above
timeframe, however it should be noted we do not
guarantee or held responsible for damage or losses if
any delay occurred in a situation beyond our control
such as banking slowlessness, act of God or force

What is the validity/expiry

What is the dominant
currency of virtual credit card?
For the convenience of calculation and international
ecommerce usage US Dollar is the dominant currency of
the card. However, it does not mean that card will not
work at sites where merchants are charging in Euros,
Pound Sterling or other world currencies. It can be used
to pay in any currency, however the card issuer will
automatically make the exchange and pay the equivalent
amount to the merchant and deduct the amount from your
card. For example, you want to purchase a product from a
website but they have prices in Euro, cost of the
product is 10 Euro. Once you make a purchase an
equivalent of 10 Euro in US dollar will be deducted from
you card (you should have enough balance in your card).
I want to use this card to
register/verify & pay at Moneybookers, eBay & PayPal,
will it be accepted there? Also can I pay eBay seller
fees every month with your card?
Yes it will work. And if there are any specific codes
you can also get them in your card statement such as 4
digit expanded use number or certain amount charged to
your card for verification purposes. You can also pay
eBay seller fees with this card.
Can I also pay at websites
and merchants such as Google Adwords, ccBill, iBill,
2Checkout, Yahoo, Clickbank, Amazon, godaddy etc?
Yes, of course you can use the card at all the above
websites. Additionally, the virtual card will work with
almost all online merchants who accept payments via
credit cards.
What will be the billing
address of Virtual credit card?
Billing address of the card will be any address provided
by the client.
Which bank is the card
issuer?
It is an offshore bank.
Who can get Virtual Card
and do you require any ID?
Anyone from any country or citizenship from around the
world can apply. For verification purposes we need a
clear image of your passport/Government issued ID which
can be scanned and sent to us by email.
What will happen if at the
time of expiry, there are some funds left in my account?
Any funds will also expire when a card expires,
therefore it is highly advised to spend/use any balance
at least 15 days before card expiration date.
How many Virtual Cards can
be ordered?
There is no restriction on the number of cards that can
be ordered.
Can Virtual card be
obtained with company or business name and address?
Yes.
Can I gift this Virtual
card to family, friends or colleagues etc?
Yes, it can be gifted to anyone.
Is this virtual card
accepted at porn or online gambling websites?
Yes, it will work at most of porn & gambling websites.
Does cardholder receive
detailed statement of MeCards Virtual credit card
transactions? And is there any fee charged on this
service?
Yes, cardholders are provided itemized statement of card
transactions via email. And there is no fee at all to
provide balance statement. This service is free of
charge and can be requested any time.
Although MeCards virtual
card works great at many online shops, websites and
merchants, it didn't work at one or two sites/online
merchants. Why?
No credit card in the world can claim work at 100%
websites or merchants. The reason is simple. Sometimes a
card that is active and has enough funds is denied,
because of that merchant's rules or policies. If this is
the case then it is out of our control and we cannot
force a merchant to accept the payment. Every card
holder should understand this fact. However if a certain
merchant doesn't accept your virtual card payment, you
can find the same product from another merchant.
What is the refund or order
cancellation policy?
Because of sensitive nature of virtual card product,
once an order is accepted for processing or a card has
been issued, there is no refund or order cancellation
possible.
Can MeCards Virtual credit
card be used at ATM machines for cash withdrawal?
No, it is not possible as there is no physical existence
of this card. Being virtual it can only be used at
online merchants, shops and websites or those merchants
who accept orders via fax or telephone.
Are there any Terms of
Service or Cardholder agreement?
Yes and it is very important for every client to agree
and accept, terms of service / cardholder agreement at
the time of card ordering. Any client who sent a payment
to order MeCards Virtual Card is considered to have
accepted terms of service / cardholder agreement. If a
client does not agree with all or any clause(s) of TOS /
cardholder agreement, please avoid using MeCards virtual
card.
Is there any reseller
program or bulk purchase at wholesale prices available?

What will be the next step

Once we receive your payment, our operations department
will set up your account with the bank and load funds to
your account. Meanwhile, the card application fee will
be debited by the bank at the same time and your online

How long does it take for
the card to be issued and forwarded to me by express
courier?
Normally it takes 15 days to be issued and dispatched by
express courier agent in country of origin.
How many cards can I order
on this account?
There are 2 cards available on every account. It means
that if you open a new currency account you will become
eligible to order 2 other cards on the new account All
supplementary cardholders will be able to conduct ATM or
Debit transactions within the limits of the primary card

How can I fully activate my
account?
need to do is printing the application forms which we
send to you after bank creates your account and sign
them, then sending them together with a notarized copy
of your government issued ID or International Passport
to the bank whether through express courier or
registered mail service. As soon as bank receives
documents, your account will be activated and you will
be notified by email. At this time you will have full
access to all sections of your online banking panel and
may execute outgoing or internal transfers or apply for
new services.
Are there any loading or withdrawal
fees for Visa Gold, Business, Classic & Electron Cards?
No. There is no limitation to load or withdraw funds from these
cards.
May I transfer funds from these

No. It is not possible due to anti money laundry policy which

What if I want to renew card after
it expires?
Simply send us an email and request to renew your card. In this
case you need to have enough funds in your card account to cover
renewal fees. You will then be issued a new card which will be
valid for 3 years.

Sure. You may login to your account using the provided username
and password in your welcome letter to view your transaction
history and change your personal information.
May I load funds to my account
directly through bank wire transfer?
Yes. While you have your own bank account number and BIC
information of your bank you can send funds to your account from

What is a Prepaid MasterCard / Visa Card Debit Card?
A card, which is preloaded with a specific amount of
money. The card can be used the same as other credit
cards after loading.
Does the card have Prepaid printed on it?
No, the card looks and works the same as a normal credit
card.
Can anyone have a Prepaid credit card?
Yes, there are no credit checks. No bank account needed.
No one refused, withdraw cash worldwide from any ATM
machine. You will receive a PIN number just like a
normal card.
Can I make purchases online using this card?
Yes, this card enables you to make payments online
everywhere MasterCard / Visa accepted.
How long it takes to receive my card?
You should receive your card within 3 to 4 weeks after
we receive your full information & payment.
Is it a credit card?
No it is not, although it works exactly the same as a
credit card but you need to preload funds in the card
before you can use it. Credit means a loan while this
card is a debit card.
Is it possible for me to have more than one card?
Yes, You can order more than one card.
How will I know my card balance?
There are many ways to get information about your card
balance. Your card issuer will send you your online
access information and the website name. Once you're on
the site and you type in your card details you can then
see your real-time account balance and view all
transactions you've made.
Will the Prepaid card rebuild my credit?
The prepaid Visa/MasterCard facility is not linked to
the credit reference agencies in any country and so it
will not improve your credit rating.
Do I have to qualify for this card?
No, you can't be denied and there is no qualification
for the card. The card is a stored value card, meaning
you or anyone paying you can deposit money into your
card account, and then you can access the money in your
account. There is no credit involved, and you can't
spend more than you have in your account. Credit is not
a determining factor when issuing the prepaid
MasterCard. All applicants are accepted, regardless of
their credit history. There is no credit check performed
with any credit referencing organization.
What happens if I use up all of the money in my Prepaid
card?
If you use up all of the money on the card, you can
always add more money to the account to continue using
it until the expiration date. Otherwise, if you have
used up all of the money on the card, and it is expired,
please destroy the card by cutting it up. A new card
will be reissued upon your request.
Can my Prepaid card ever carry a negative balance?
An authorization request for an amount greater than the
account balances will be declined. However,
occasionally, a merchant does not immediately send
through an authorization request, meaning that while the
money has been spent with a merchant, the account has
not yet been debited. If another purchase is made before
the authorization is put through, there is a possibility
that your account could hold a negative balance. If that
happens, you would be notified immediately to add
additional funds to the account or else your card will
incur charges and ultimately be deactivated.
Will I get a monthly statement?
There are no paper statements sent to card holders.
Instead you can log on to the customer service website
anytime using your card number and pin number to view
your monthly statement or your entire transaction
history.
How do I load the Prepaid card?
Card can be loaded with one of the following options:
Western Union, Instant Cash, Moneybookers, MoneyGram or
bank wire transfer, domestic or international.( By
considering the limited number of countries that have
access to Paypal facilities we decided to omit this
option for card loading).
What is the Prepaid card loading limit?
Card minimum loading limit is $100 and maximum loading
limit at any time is $5,000.
Should I pay any fees?
Yes, There are some little fees for the use of cards and
the amount of these fees depends on your card type.
While there is no need to keep a minimum balance on card
it is a good idea to keep a small amount of money on
your card to cover the monthly maintenance fee and the
charges for any transactions you may be making during
the course of a month.
